Angola Idol Season 4 is here bigger and better than ever, with $2,500 in cash and other prizes to the top three singers! You could be one of them!

• All contestants, who must be 21 years of age or older, will be required to present a photo ID and sign a release to participate.
• Participants MUST BE registered no later than 7:00 pm the day of each round of the event, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Contestants who have qualified to move on to a subsequent round of Angola Idol will NOT be required to pay admission to the event.
• Qualification for the quarter-final round will be determined by our qualified panel of judges.
• The judges' scores are based on vocal ability and talent, stage presence, creativity, appearance, and the overall impression of each performance.
• Scoring for the quarter-final through final rounds will be comprised of the judges' scores, ballot voting, and online voting.
• Ballot voting during the final rounds is limited to one ballot vote per person the night of the contests. Must be present to vote.
• Piggy’s Brew Pub. WLKI 100.3 and the other stations of Swick Broadcasting Company Inc. (UROCK, ESPN 92.7, WTHD, WLZZ, WBET and ESPN AM 1230) have NO affiliation with the judges.
• Contestants must execute their performances, comments and conduct throughout the duration of the contest in a tasteful manner with respect for the judges, the other contestants, our sponsors, Piggy’s Brew Pub, WLKI and the other stations of Swick Broadcasting Company Inc.
• No rude or offensive language will be tolerated from contestants or other guests.
• The retail value of the prizes to be awarded is at least $2,500.00!
• Over 30,000 karaoke songs will be provided, but we RECOMMEND you bring your own karaoke song disc/accompaniment.
• Contestants may provide their own accompaniment, however their instruments must be amped through our sound system and no piano will be provided.
• Do not bring burned discs.
• The use of TV monitors to provide lyrics may be limited to the qualifying rounds. Do not count on them being present, as using them will take away from your performance.
• Rules & evaluation criteria are subject to change at any time without notice.
• The decisions of the judges, Piggy’s Brew Pub, WLKI 100.3 and the other stations of Swick Broadcasting Company Inc. (UROCK, ESPN 92.7, WTHD, WLZZ, WBET and ESPN AM 1230) are final.
• Employees & immediate family members of Piggy’s Brew Pub, WLKI 100.3 and the other stations of Swick Broadcasting Company Inc. and our judges are not eligible to participate.
• The winners will be required to present photo I.D.’s and Social Security Cards in order for Swick Broadcasting Company to issue an IRS Form 1099 for tax purposes.

This is an extremely popular community event and seats go very quickly.

No tables will be available for reservation. Come early and have dinner to ensure your party gets a seat.

Helpful Tips

Show Up At Least One Hour Before Showtime

Angola Idol is a very popular event. You should show up with your entourage at least one hour before showtime to get a seat, prepare yourself to perform, verify your disc will play to avoid delaying the show and become familiar with the stage and show notes for the evening. Note: You MUST arrive no later than 7:00 p.m. if you intend to compete, unless prior arrangements have been made.

If You Make The "Finals" You Will Be Performing With the Live Band BLAMMO...

All finalists will be performing with BLAMMO as part of the Angola Idol Finals. This is in addition to performing at least one song with karaoke accompaniment.

TV Monitors With Lyrics Will Be Provided During The Two Qualifying Rounds Only.

We do not recommend that you use the TV's to remember they lyrics to your song. They cut down on your overall performance impression and will NOT be available after the first two qualifying rounds.

Dress For The Part

Pick a song that suits you. Wear clothing that fits your act, and use the whole stage. All of this will be reflected in the score the judges will give you.

Don't Bring Burned Discs

There is no guarantee that burned discs will play on our player. Even if they've played once, that doesn't mean they will again.
